Amber Padilla is a cartoonist and MFA graduate of the California College of the Arts Comics program. Originally from Santa Ana, CA, and now based in Venice Beach, Amber’s career spans the independent zine scene to professional credits with Marvel and the graphic novel The Secret Garden on 81st Street. Raised on a steady diet of animation, soap operas, science fiction, and Japanese anime and manga, she balances her professional projects with a love for crafting (current obsession: sewing) and quiet days at home with her husband, family, friends, and two cats.
